Frances studied at Middlesex University in the UK gaining a first class BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine (2009) and completed her doctorate at the University of East London (UEL) investigating antimicrobials from native British plants listed in 10th century Anglo-Saxon wound healing formulations (2013). Frances has published papers on her research findings and continues to explore herbal remedies found in Old English and Latin medieval medical manuscripts.
